Enough of all that robot doom and gloom. Back to the good news of the willy nilly world we made for ourselves...
Ted Cruz: Congress 'doesn't know what the hell it's doing' with AI regulation
https://www.yahoo.com/news/ted-cruz-cong...20991.html
I never said that humans don't know what's going on. I said the people that run the world don't know whats going on. A few people get it, but they don't run the world. Elon Musk gets it. And he is racing ahead of everybody trying to make a road off this crazy planet. Ruttan and Branson don't get it as they try to follow Musk incompetently. They got lucky on their first ship and screwed the pooch on their second one. Same goes with the idiots that killed 5 people going down to the Titanic.
Well hold the phone now. Why be a racist by calling people idiots? Yup, seems the new norm is to call everything derogatory a racist. Even if it's the truth. Because Obama already proclaimed that all losers were actually winners. Hence the reason "Doctor" Biden tried to invite the NCAA womens basketball "losers" to the White House. Before bowing to the demands that the actual winners would boycott the White House unless she changed her mind. So I guess the dead Titanic sub people are really winners, huh. I suspect the Russians and the Chinese are not on the same page of what todays "winner" is.
But lets take a close look at this idiot label here. The sub people said they were keeping things simple so less can go wrong. That's why they didn't have locator beacons. Holly shit. And speaking of shit, there is no toilet inside that tiny sub. They bring along a box of ziplock bags. Geez. I wonder how that's supposted to work. Actually, I don't want to wonder. It's one thing to throw up in a bag, but how do you think diarrhea is going to blow when you realize the sub is in "deep" trouble. And how do you hold the bag and wipe your ass of the running dribbling at the same time? Are the other sub mates going to help? I been on a copter where everybody else barfed their brains out. Nasty stink. That sub is just crazy land in so many ways. And here's another way. The thing only opens from the outside. So even if they did drift with the underwater currents 100 miles and finally got back to the surface, they can't get out to get fresh air. And they got no radio. And to top it off, the company only has this one sub that goes down to the Titanic. They didn't build a spare in case they needed to bring a hook and cable to the rescue. Hum, sounds like a familiar libtard movie of a country of libtards that sold off their army to fund their peacenic lifestyle. Then were left to beg the world for free weapons and anything else a suddenly starving nation could want.
And that's just what I shake my head at. Other "experts" are calling this contraption a Mickey Mouse Garden Shed arrangement with no seats and no way to hold on to anything. With actual video game control units that run the sub. I have seen a few pictures that seem so, and that just makes all this even more idiotic. I seriously doubt the movie man James Cameron would have put his life on the line for something this cobbled together. They say there is scuba tanks inside for 4 days of air. But the air has nowhere to go. So if they try to use up 4 days of air, the pressure inside will go up hugely. How are people supposed to live inside like that? It's 4000 psi on the outside. There is no valve to open to bleed off the inside pressure. And if the sub does start to rise, how far up can they go before the high pressure inside makes the sub blow open? Peoples lungs shrink as the pressure goes up. If the lungs get too small from the increasing pressure, then people suffocate because the lungs are too small to get enough air. Way before 4 days is up.
Oh I forgot to mention. This sub was only built to take 3000 meters of pressure. But they later said it's good for Titanic pressures. Probably after pushing their luck and getting to the wreck for the first time. There is no regulation on stuff like this, especially in international waters. So most everybody has no clue if this is one of those pigs with lipstick on it. A very compelling reason to clearly mark the winners and the losers in life. Then we all have lives less cluttered up with idiotic stuff.
So you see, it's really easy for idiots to put on a smart suit and wing it when they see a pot of gold to be had. It's just too bad that idiots tend to bring the gullible masses along with them. Especially when Obama convinced a new generation that it's ok to be gullible. The libtards are here to hold your hand cradle to grave. Till nobody is looking...
Anyways, all this is just wasted jawing. With so much "racist" stupidity going on here. I suspect that sub exploded and everybodys shit is now a dissipated cloud in the sea. Aint no way a cascade of stupidity in the face of crushing depths could have ended up any other way. They can call me a racist, but it won't stop me from pointing out the idiots all around us.
Oh and a little footnote. I been on a mini sub. Aint that cool? The one in Hawaii that holds a couple dozen people with lots of windows. It only went down 100 feet, but that was plenty deep for me. And it had seats and room and a whole dashboard of controls. Built in a time when idiots were not allowed in the control room. Been a long time but I looked it up and they still run those subs at all the islands. It aint the Titanic, but we all saw plenty and lived to tell the tale.
Amazing the response that seems to be going on to try to help these 5 people out. Reminds me of the response when the Kursk Russian sub sank in just 350 feet of water. Half the world responded with help that was refused. The Ruskies putzed around with their inferior rescue equipment till they gave up 4 days later and allowed a neutral country to try their equipment. Buy then all the survivors were dead. Seemed like a shame back then. But today, as they burn a ton of gas and overtime to try to help 5 guys in a foolish predicament, we send out as many weapons as humanly possible thru Poland to blow the hell out of Ruskies. While the Ruskies blow the hell out of the hopeless Ukrainians. Only a human can make sense of this. But I'm not one of those humans. It was clearer what to do over a year ago, but not to much now, with things so much worse off. Trump stopping the war in a day would be an absolute miracle. If we feel the need to save 5, why cant we try to save all the rest...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It would seem that the sub has held up and they hear SOS tapings coming from the Titanic area. That is a WOW moment. But the Human element is still a mighty roadblock. The company had no backup sub that could immediately drag a cable to hook to their own disable sub. Russians used to send 2 subs at the same time so they could see what each other was doing. So the company with an unsinkable sub, is totally dependent on the rest of the world to come to the rescue. As 5 people sit trapped in whatever situation they have. They say it's like being in a freezer down there. And the fear of the situation has no doubt made them all dump their loads in a small sealed tank. Eye wateringly bad. LED tech would allow flashlights of very long duration, but it's unknown if the ill prepared "explorers" brought along simple items like that. It seems like a no brainer, but this whole business seems like a rather brainless operation. They claim 7 ways to get back to the surface, yet all 7 ways seem to have failed. Just goes to show how humans are so quick to rely on bone headed ideas to claim credibility to amazing feats. I bet somebody else is already planning a crazy adventure with 12 ways of preventing disaster. Just wait until average joe incorporated starts heading into space. We will be seeing more of this crazy stuff with people likely freezing solid in orbit.
Anyways, things are still just bad on an epic scale. Humans wasting time just trying to agree on action. Seems deep sea rescue equipment available has not arrived sooner because of debates with specific US officials regarding the use of a special plane that is otherwise sitting idle. We got a big government that is currently preoccupied with blowing up Putin and imprisoning Trump. There is nobody in the office to take the calls for help.
The French say they have figured out a plan with their equipment to get on scene as fast as humanly possible, after 3 days of nobody else ponying up. Means nothing until there are actual results. But it doesn't end there. We don't know how long the air will actually last. We don't know if the cold is helping or hurting. And even if an absolute miracle happens and they hook a cable to the sub, the air inside will be used and at the very maximum pressure. The sub could burst when near the surface with no external pressure. And the people inside are going to be so gasses up like nobody ever gets. Breathing all that high pressure air for so long. If they somehow survive nitrogen toxicity, oxygen toxicity, methane toxicity, piss ammonia toxicity, or any other toxicity in that sealed tube where nothing gets out, then they have all that gas saturated inside their bodies. In an epic way like no other diver ever gets. And those people inside are going to likely explode very quickly after they unbolt the door on the sub. And there is no way that the company thought to put valves on the sub to hook air lines to pump fresh air in while very slowly leaking air out for weeks worth of decompression. You really cant put valves on because it is a failure point when diving to Titanic depths. That's why the door is bolted from the outside. There are few if any through holes to the inside. If the sub so much as cracks a leak from the internal pressure while hauling the sub out, then everybody dies the screaming agony, while rescuers can only scramble around with endless tasks till the screaming dies out. It's worse than being set on fire since fire quickly burns the nerve endings. People on fire were filmed calmly walking out of the Hindenburg inferno, and even talked like they had no idea the gravity of their situation. To the utter shock of rescuers. So there may seem to be sudden hope here, but people will soon realize that there is still a nearly impossible mountain of utter fugly to overcome.
This company thought to make everybody sign legal death waivers. But never figured how to battle the suction of sinking in the mud, getting stuck by cables and netting, communicating effectively with the surface, getting reliable flotation at great depths, etc, etc. If they do bring them up, we will all get answers to at least some of the failures of this doomed journey. But SpaceX has been getting all the answers to all the questions without killing anybody so far. And the difference is partly government oversight, and partly a dedication to VERIFIED testing of everything to destruction. SpaceX always said they learn the most from failures. Their new rocket launch was not expected to succeed but they launched anyway to see all the failures. One smart man leading a company to endless successes.
Now compare all that to robot and AI logic by computers that think of everything that is in it's data banks. AI systems will think of everything first time with mathematical precision and endlessly logical coordination. Operation from day one will be 100% with likely only performance efficiency issues that will be instantly recognized and AI altered for better efficiency. Humans can in no way keep up with computers. AI driven robots will have completed their tasks before humans can even finish with meetings. So if humans don't wake up quick to the AI threat, we will loose control at the calculated instant and be put in our place in the new AI world order. Which would likely mean disposal in energy reclamation machines. Greenies should be proud of that fate.
