USB Format Issue.

I copied a large file onto a 3.95G capacity USB Flash Drive that left 15M remaining.
Now when I try to open the file it doesn't open. I have tried formatting it but if I try to click on the drive Windows Exlplorer says Not Responding.

Any help or advice on how to resolve this issue will be very much appreciated.

hmm you could try a check disk

open cmd (if Win Vista/7/8 "Run as administrator") and type chkdsk /f /r DriveLetter:

Ex: chkdsk /f /r E:

If that doesn't solve the issue open cmd also As Administrator and type sfc /scannow
