I am looking for Star trek style series, new or old that have that sci fi, space adventure style theme. Something like a SG 1 genre

thanks

Its been more than a year since anyone posted in this particular topic!

I just wanted to say that Star Trek Discovery is crap in my opinion and the new Star Trek Picard is an interesting return to the role for Patrick Stewart.
Even before the first 10 episodes were aired on CBS All Access channel, they renewed it for a second year!

The pilot brought back Brent Spiner as Data. Looking forward to Picard dealing with Seven of Nine, Riker, and Deanna Troi again.

Plus Guinan is coming back.  Yay!

My ideas were B4, Worf, Sisko (I know, probably impossible), and probably a crossover with Discovery.

Guys, I know it's probably improbable, but I hope the Ferengi make an appearance.

I'm surprised that no one mentioned Tasha Yar.

I know, I know, she's dead, but they still never made any finalities yet.

I couldnt handle to SJW/globomo of the previous Star trek, and at first Picard looked nauseating with a stupid opening. But at episode three it looks interesting again, and I will probably continue from there.

My main critique is that it looks like they are trying to merge Star Wars themes.
