I am really looking forward to this one!!  It makes for a great double feature with Rifftrax's Mothra, although I can never remember which one to watch first.  Hope this shows up soon; it looks great!

Apologies for the delay here. A lot of life stuff, a bit of procrastination, and a LOT of hard work kept this from happening sooner.
But it's done and it looks gooooood imho lol. So glad this site is back so I can share it.

Special thanks to Riffling for blazing the trail with his Zombie Nightmare remaster, and for providing me with upscaled silhouettes and host segments.

A few details about the remaster:

• The HD version of Godzilla vs. The Sea Monster is taken from the Criterion Collection Godzilla box set. I applied a light gamma tweak so that Joel + the bots are always the blackest element onscreen while trying to maintain the integrity of the Criterion transfer.
  
• The silhouettes were taken from a D.A.P. VHSrip that was deinterlaced and upscaled by Riffling. Hundreds of tracking bumps present in the source were stabilized individually by me.
  
• All host segments were taken from the officially released ‘Satellite Dishes’ bonus DVD, which includes host segments for all the episodes Shout! Factory was unable to secure the right to. Riffling upscaled these as well and I did some light saturation and contrast boosting.
  
• For this episode I replaced the Film Ventures International credits with recreated Walter Reede titles (done by youtuber SpaceHunterM⚧). This is probably the biggest change from the original episode. Since the theater sits empty for 45 seconds while the FVI credits run, I felt the Walter Reede titles were a much quicker and more suitable way to get the show going.
  
• As Joel and the bots walking into the theater after the credits, I actually did a few seconds of animation to extend their walk to account for the extended theater seats. The rest of the time their entrance/exit is covered either by the countdown door or a set of red theater curtains which I added in.
  
• For whatever reason, during the big explosion at 1:29:47 the screen flashes a solid lime green in the Criterion version of the film. I replaced this with what I felt was a more fitting orange gradiant to match the explosion.
  
• Cleaned up/replaced the silhouettes while the MST3K Info Club address appears.
  
• Added an updated version of the "Turn Down Your Lights" intro and Best Brain production clip at the end

Damn. 9Gb. Mega won't let me download it with my free account. Oh well--not as disappointing as season 13, which I did in part pay for; but I did want to see this.
If anybody out there puts this on google drive or compresses it, please share a link!

If you have a VPN change the server when the downloading stops and it will usually resume.  Rinse and repeat.

Amazing work! I'm glad I could help in a small way. Personally, I love the larger filesize option as well, but I may be in the minority there.

Download does not start at all, it just opens new page telling me to buy different levels of Mega membership.
EDIT--hang on. I didn't realize I could ignore the recommended "buy Pro version" page.  It is downloading. I'll see how far I get.
EDIT2 -- 54%.  And no, no VPN. I do have a copy of the original episode, which I guess has been good enough all these years, it will have to do.

If you're on a "proper" computer, use Megadownloader (v 1.8).  I just used it to pull down this file without a "pro" account and it came in no problem.
