I'm going nuts trying to find this one. Usually I eventually come across what I'm looking for. Anyone have this and willing to share?

I'm looking for Blackwell Ghost 8, but here's Blackwell Ghost 6 for you...
https://mega.nz/file/R6xmAQ6Z#T3RkhSMMtT...cyd1C4NSv4 Sorry about the watermark, but this was the only English-language copy I could find, and also the only copy that wasn't recorded using an etch-a-sketch. I saw 8 streaming free on billy billy using the Tor network, but I haven't figured out how to download from them.

I found 8 on bilibili and grabbed it.
Downloading from them is a two-part process, unless you use locoloader, and then look carefully through all the download options once it's parsed. I got you a copy of 6 with no watermark : https://mega.nz/file/17gikLaT#lFCdVdiEaC...D-s2DYX8JM

Thread lurker here: Are these bad movies or just personal curiosities?

They're interesting ... to me at least ... because the creator is unlikeable AF, he keeps chopping and changing direction and plot, and he gets vexed when the audience guesses his M. Night Ramenoodlen level plot twists. He not only changes things in the next film, but goes out of his way to say on-screen that the audience is wrong, and then shoehorns something in, in place of what he was going to do. His ego is clearly vast, and it's funny just to watch him flail around.

Thanks SO much CA for posting that. My take on the movies: First of all, he has gotten pretty good at leaving you wanting to see the next one (it's almost like the old serials with their cliffhangers). He's done a good job of keeping the runtime to about an hour - anything longer would be far too long. The movies can be entertaining provided (1) you're a fan of the "slow burn" and trying to sink into the plot, (2) You're not missing something else fantastic to watch, and most important (3) You can cut this one some slack for being an indie flick and having no budget at all, (Bonus) You should watch alone in the dark. These can't be described as "scary", but they can be pretty eerie if viewed in the right circumstances. Additionally, you'll have to give him a wink and a nod at some points (I think he assumes you have no idea of standard police procedures, for example). Given all that and without high expectations, I say give it go. The best thing I can say is he doesn't rely extensively on jump scares, and every effect is practical.

Thank *you* for that analysis, itsizz (this is a great community). "... he doesn't rely extensively on jump scares, and every effect is practical." <<< this is a big bonus at *any* budget level, imho. I'll check these out. |
