I wanted to make an alternate/updated version of Vol. 1 while I still have all the project files.

First, I tried to address some of the feedback I got about the host segments. This is my compromise:


While I was at it I also moved Joel and the bots over one seat in the theater. My original intent in having them more centered was to help line them up for the moments where they interact with the screen, but I do think the off-center look is more in line with the show.

So for this alternate version I didn't concern myself as much with zooming/cropping the movie to line up with Joel every time he interacts with the screen, though I still did it for a few of the more obvious moments.

I also added a subtle brightness halo around (or rather under) the silhouettes for slightly improved visibility.

I originally considered this an alternative to my original version but I think I prefer this to the other.
So call it what you want: v1.5, v2.0, 'The Off-Center Variant,' or the how about 'The Remastered Remaster'.
