I can speak to this.

Some folks in woke culture think that making jokes (about LGBTQ, race, ethnicity, one's weight, sex, feminism, etc.) is (and the buzzword is) "problematic." Problematic in this sense meaning "not woke, insensitive, and completely unacceptable."  I can see the concern, but to me, jokes depend on intent. Is the comedian being hateful or not?

Being of a certain ethnicity myself, i can respect and laugh at a good joke, unless the person is being rude and hateful, which i rarely find to be the case. I don't want a world without comedy, even if it's comedy that describes me and my circumstance.

Woke culture won’t stop until there is nothing left to laugh at. In fact, they’d only be happy if the trio would, rather than riff, point out “microaggressions” every few seconds rather than quips and jokes. 

Anyhow, you all enjoy the rest of your weekend and I hope this thread dies, painfully.

Also, your statement "I can see the concern, but to me, jokes depend on intent." is spot on, in reference to intent. If the intention of the joke is not malicious then I see no harm in making it. I, honestly, cannot see Mike, Kevin or Bill being insensitive about anything ON PURPOSE. It'd be awful for business, and secondly, irregardless of the impact on their business, I don't think they'd make jokes and/or statements to offend anyone because they seem like genuinely good people that wouldn't do that.

Few intersex people exhibit this. Most never even find out they are different. The point was that offensive jokes are written everyday, if a Japanese immigrant can laugh at a riff of a movie that mocks Japanese culture, and if the nation of Japan doesn't get all butthurt about the constant jokes made at their expense, then the comparatively minute group of "Trans" people, shouldn't let the gender biased or sexist jokes get to them. My recommendation stands, thicken your skin, let the bad jokes slide off of you, and enjoy the rest.
