I was thinking about all this recently... Does anyone actually use anything else other than iTunes for playing music? I remember Winamp back in the day, but since then, I think Apple has dominated that corner of the market!
This article suggests a few, including MediaMonkey, AnyTrans, and good old Winamp! Am I missing something here? Or is iTunes simply the best option?

Tried iTunes and found it to be a plain music store player. Still use WinAmp and not so long ago also had Sonique running, for the music visualizaton they have. There're compatible players but then I just stick with the originals. No new player I know of has that beauty and power, specially if you plug-in Audio Enhancer.

It's Windows Media Player for Windows 7, not the later Windows.
