Well, there are things that are beyond our control.
The best thing to do now is to let the politicians and doctors to do their thing while we stay at home and marvel at our pirated games/software/movies/TV shows/dirty magazines/whatever.
You're right, there is a lot of misinformation going around. But the total truth is that if you let panic and anxiety get the best of you, you won't live to see the day that there is a true vaccine coming out, if any.
So I just say, chill out. I'm shaking in my boots, but what can I do?

You can buy a gallon or so of QATs at a feed/farm store. They are used for disinfecting barns/coops, etc
Soak your mask and cotton gloves in a solution mixed with salt and soap, let dry.
Makes these things reusable. And forms a better barrier.
Some recommend Povidone (Iodine) - what surgeons use. Excellent too, but more expensive, and likely to be more noticeable due to yellow stain.

I've been madly burning shows to disc. My teardrop/caravan has a DVD player and if we need to evac to the desert we will have entertainment.
