It was working fine without patch. Copied installed files from opt/screenconenct to windows and patched and again copied it back to debian. But now its not working . Before copying files back stopped screenconnect services and then started again. Patch used 2.6.0 (beta)
CompareMemory <-- that's the crashing function, that's not something we patch/touch in any way.
Are you sure you are running a compatible Linux/glibc?
Also try ScreenConnect_20.2.29488.7519_Debug.tar.gz
Thanks for pointing out error. It seems this is common error of memory leak in linux due to libc version issue. They have mentioned workaround for this error on their website. will try that today and update here.
***Working ***
Tested current patch on Ubuntu 20.04 x64 using version ScreenConnect_20.1.29489.7513_Release.tar.gz .
In case screenconnect doesn't get started look for libc error fix. Its just a simple symlink error of libc .
