The first Gintama film, with the Benizakura arc condensed. Pretty nice and with some of the comedy feeling stripped away. Quite nice if you like Gintama. The VIP release is OK to watch.
In the new season, I'm so far pretty impressed by Sword Art Online S2, which is taking a funny direction after a few eps. Also OK is the third season of Sengoku Basara, one of the craziest interpretations of samurai anime out there. Not great in any way, unless you think stupid jokes and boobs are great, is Momo Kyun Sword, a take on Momotaro which so far fails rather badly due to awful scriptwriting. Only thing saving it is Taketatsu Ayana as the voice of the moronic main character Best so far, however, is a charming comedy called Barakamon. Story is about a calligrapher that gets into trouble and sets of to an isolated island to train and regroup his mind. There he's confronted with a crazy kid and bunch of other folks. Totally hilarious slice of life

Sword art online...... started sucking halfway through.
Attack on titan .........Meh... too much overrated
Garden of sinners......not bad but not my type
Blue Exorcist............friendship shit like pokemon, yuck....
death note...............Best out there and kinda logical
Hyouka....................Surprised me. Way better than expectations. Worth watching.
xxxholic....................Strange, very strange one.
List will go on. List is based on personal preferences.

just binge watched all 5 seasons of Clone Wars since life got in the way and lost track around season 3. I also watched the first season of Star Wars Rebels. while getting this all caught up in time for the big premiere of Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens this coming December 25th, I came across an article at Screenrant that summed up more eloquently and succintly than I could do, why both of these animated series are essential viewing for the Star Wars movie cannon universe.
I do have to say that when I heard the announcement that Lucas threw out the entire extended universe of books, graphic novels, short stories, etc so JJ Abrams would have a "clean slate" to build the next trilogy of movies, I among many millions of hard core fans was gravely dissappointed. I was sooooo hoping to finally see Mara Jade and her story on the big screen and this next movie would have been the perfect place to insert that. And don't even get me started about the exclusion of the whole Thrawn story arch.
But here's some food for thought that other Star Wars fans may not have considered when they chose to bypass the animated series'. Firstmost and foremost is corrects some of the mistakes made and things that a 2 hour movies couldn't address and were glossed over in the prequel trilogy of movies. It puts into context just how epic and mind blowing certain events really were that we see in the movies.
For more of what I'm talking about, here's the Screenrant article that explains why Clone Wars and Rebels are essential viewing if you want to have any kind of an idea of what's going on when you go to theaters to see Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens movie later this year. There's still time to get caught up. Netflix as well as TPB has all 5 seasons of Clone Wars and season one of Star Wars Rebels. Season 2 of Rebels premieres Oct 14th next month

Edit Reason: Spelled resurrection wrong. Corrected it.
)
Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection "F"
Good video effects, but bland plot. Freeza comes back. Big deal.
