- Ookami to Koushinryou (Spice and Wolf)
MyAnimeList link: http://myanimelist.net/anime/2966/Ookami...ushinryou/

Info:
The peddler Kraft Lawrence travels through the world selling all kinds of things. After visiting a village, he discovers a sleeping girl under the pelts in his cart. She has wolf ears and a tail. The wolf girl explains that she has been called a "god," but that her name is Holo and nothing more. Lawrence teases the girl a little, but after hearing more of her story, he is moved and decides to accompany her further north. On their travels the two have many adventures, often getting into trouble, but the bond between them grows stronger.

My opinion: Those who like simple romances will surely like this one. As sad above, it's about merchant and a wolf-girl, going from city, trading with other people, getting into troubles, having interesting outcomes, etc. Story is simple to follow, characters are well made, art is really good, music as well.

I am currently watching Kindaichi Case files (anime and live version) - its a rather interesting and at times creative mystery series for those that enjoy mystery genre.

I'm currently watching "The Basketball which Kuroko Plays" seasons 1 and 2.

It has Cantonese and Japanese audio tracks.

I don't watch or play basketball, but the Japanese know how to make it look like a hell of an action film.

Here's part 1: http://www.deainx.net/forum.php?mod=view...7%F2%CD%F5
Here's part 2: http://www.deainx.net/forum.php?mod=view...7%F2%CD%F5

These guys have Chinese subtitles. It's taken from the Hong Kong TV channel TVB J2.

- Nisekoi
MyAnimeList link: http://myanimelist.net/anime/18897/Nisekoi
Info:Raku Ichijou is an average high school student. He also happens to be the sole heir to the head of a Yakuza Family called the Shuei-gumi. Ten years ago, Raku made a promise... a secret promise with a girl he met. They promised one another that they will "get married when they reunite." Since then, Raku never let go of the pendant the girl gave him.

Then one day, a beautiful girl named Chitoge Kirisaki transfers into Raku's class. Their chemistry was more than off. There was not a moment where they were not fighting. But by a weird turn of events, Raku and Chitoge agree to become fake lovers. Although his heart is really interested in his classmate Kosaki Onodera, Raku must continue pretending to be Chitoge's boyfriend.

My opinion: Another good harem themed anime. Shaft did a good job on this one. Animation and art is really good, music as well. Characters are lovable. Story really interesting. Only thing that I didn't like is how short it is compared to manga, which is much better (and longer, of course.). If you happen to like this anime, make sure to check out its manga adaptation as well. You can find download links for manga volumes in my uploads. ^^

I think the last good movie I saw was The secret world of Arrietty.
I prefer Studio Ghibli films, but I haven't seen their last one.

As of series, don't think I've had the time to sit down and enjoy a full show since 2007.

My favorite anime. The light novels are really good too, and go farther than the anime by a lot.

Horo is a great Bitch Tongue I have thought about picking up the Light Novels, but the queue is too long...

A lot of ongoing stuff is ending or is about to end now.

Just finished Nobunaga the Fool, and it was a messed up thing. Yet another one of the Warring States incarnations. Started out quite decently although confused, and I hoped for something like Sengoku Basara, but the storytelling didn't quite hold up to the end.

Mangaka-san to Assistant-san was a light-hearted ecchi comedy with about half-sized eps. Brainless entertainment.

Isshuukan Friends was better. Not great in any way, but a different take on a school romance, with the side characters stealing the show.

Sidonia no Kishi, now we're talking. Hard-core Sci Fi with blood and death all over the place (the latter not really my thing...) The animation style seriously put me off, but when we got into it, yeah. Twelve eps finished, but second season already announced. That OP can be listened to many times!

Remains to finish is Black Bullet, for which I have very mixed feelings... Undecided

Still have to finish that one. Got stuck on 11th ep. XD

- Maoyu - Archenemy & Hero (Maoyuu Maou Yuusha)
MyAnimeList link: http://myanimelist.net/anime/14833/Maoyuu_Maou_Yuusha
Info:After a long and treacherous journey, our Hero finally arrives at the Dark Lady's castle only to find himself being asked for help. The Hero explains how the war that the demons have brought upon the humans have killed thousands and put more in misery. The queen of demons however argues that this war has made the human society band together as one and showed empirical evidence how it has increased population, increased production, boosted economy and improved society overall. Furthermore, she explains to the Hero that ending this war will result in a civil war that will produce more bloodshed than there ever was. The Hero, convinced that the only way to bring peace, relatively speaking, is to join forces with the Dark Lady, agrees to help with her plans!

My opinion: Saw this one in suggestions for anime similar to Spice and Wolf. This one had less lovey-dovey scenes, but it was really good. Not as good as Spice and Wolf, but good in its own way. Funny thing was that no character had an actual name: Hero, Demon King, Female Knight, etc. Even the countries had "generalized" names. Big Grin But, that kinda added to anime's charm.

Hero was really overpowered, meaning that he could slaughter the whole army by himself. Well, can't be more overpowered then Ousawa Akatsuki from Hagure Yuusha. XD

Anyway it was a really good one. ^^ Gave it 8/10. Smile Hope you'll check it out cos it really is worth it. ^^

Don't know if you noticed, but Koshimizu Ami voices both Horo and Maou. Splendily, in fact Smile
