You need to download an ISO file, burn it to DVD using a burning program like Nero, or extract the ISO on a USB key using a program called Rufus, and make the computer boot from either the DVD or USB key depending on what you did.
Then the computer will install the OS.
NOTE: Before you do that, make sure you back your important files. This cannot be delayed or the files can be destroyed, so do it!
Here are some sites that I go to for my ISO needs:
- teamos-hkrg.com - Thanks to AncientRome for indirectly correcting my error when spelling this link.
- thepiratebay.org
For the former link, you need to register before you do any downloading. I suggest that you use direct downloads with a downloader called Mipony. I'm too lazy to provide a link, but a little Googling will do the trick.
Make sure you get a pre-activated ISO if you don't want to create a hassle of finding an activator.
If you do, just try a clean ISO, go to forums.mydigitallife.net for activators, and once you get your Windows OS installed and activated, make some system updates. It'll be brand-spanking new. Of course, I don't like this method; I'd rather use pre-activated ISOs.
OK, on your way. If you have questions, come back to me for them.
And welcome to SuprBay.
