#1
I have a quick question i wanted to ask. I want to download the latest Naruto Shippuden UNS 4 game for PC. I am using vpn called ivacy with Bittorent client. so t when using a vpn for downloading a file, when you turn it off once the downloaded is complete, can you still be tracked for downloading the file?

Once the download is complete, make sure you stop your task completely (usually, after the task is downloaded it will automatically start seeding. Stop the seed!); now you're safe Wink

If you want to make sure data does not go out unencrypted while torrenting, set up firewall rules that block everything but OpenVPN on the default interface Or choose vpn provider that offers kill switch features such as these providers.

if you had your vpn on before you downloaded and after you're finished seeding, you should be fine

but just to make sure, check your torrent ip if it's correct

don't turn off your vpn if you're going to seed

To make sure you are connected with the VPN when downloading you should use the program "VPNCHECK", it's a free program and what it does is really simple.

This program terminates your Torrent Client as soon as you disconnect your VPN/IP address changes. So if your vpn disconnects without any reason it terminates the torrent client application in less than a second. I tryed firewall and other option to, also the killswitch in most vpn clients but they all failed to disconnect my torrent downloads when i dropped my connection, and that has to do with uTP options, ports are still open etc. So i am using VPNCHECK which just simply terminates the torrent client if your ip address changes when the vpn drops out.
