Because will help them get visits to the site where the have ads and earn some $ for the work they are doing. Nothing is free in this world. If you don't like it you can buy the software.

they shouldn't be doing that when they have pink skull status.there is also two adverts for them in the torrent

pink skull "Trusted users are verified uploaders. We trust these users to share with the community great torrents free from spam or malware. We hold these users to a higher standard when it comes to trollish behavior or exploitation (this includes spam or ad-filled links in descriptions or comments"

There is nothing in the description about being forced redirect to their site

i suggest you start uploading and cracking apps speeding hour and hour risking your freedom just for the fun of it. they are promoting their site for you to download your next torrent from them directly

slush, I don't think TheBeard is exactly complaining. He/she was trying to figure about something that seems to be an anomaly for him/her. Sarcasm won't help here.

TheBeard, if it goes to the uploader's site, then it's time that you consider getting another torrent.

EDIT: And oh, if the problem persists from the "pink uploader," you should report it. Spam is indeed not tolerated in The Pirate Bay.

I risk a lot by just sharing (torrent clients upload while downloading) and don't expect anybody, leecher or not, to pay me for that.
This thing of making money on cracking MAY be just a way to fund what they need to keep operations OR it may be professional piracy for profit (although ad money should probably be small).
Anyway IF no harm is being done, a site visit won't hurt; just transparency should be in place, like a polite explanation, etc. Most decent uploaders just add a text file (usually ReadMe) with an invitation.

@RobertX: You're right, lately I've seen some old accounts uploading a lot of garbage, like 1xBet and IGG. Even got a little virus from a skull'd guy. Sadly, it's becoming common.

thanks for your reply.,where do  i report  it. i ignore sarcastic people.

"TheBeard, if it goes to the uploader's site, then it's time that you consider getting another torrent." i got rid of it and it did not actually reach the site because i had the site in hosts. I must have had that experience with that site before . But it opened the url to a blank cannot connect

You'll find it at the topmost section of SuprBay's main page. You only have one post there and it's for you.

You can only see yours, but don't worry, no one will be able to see it except for you and the mods.

Not even I can see it.

Hope this helps.

EDIT: Report Torrents / Comments

That's the section.

That's pretty low

I just tried one of the uploader's latest torrent, and it doesn't contain anything that pops up a webbrowser.

How did you manage to get this torrent in particular, as it seems to be unseeded? Are you sure it was from this uploader you downloaded from?
