photoshop cs5.1 64bit keep saving temp/cache files on my portable hard drive, are there any way to redirect those files back to my croot)?? i am using win7, btw.

try to get you'r hands on a portable versions,
they work fine.

Edit, Preferences, Performance, Scratch disks. Uncheck the portable drive and check C:\.
If you have another physical drive (other than C:\), it's better to have the scratch disk set to that one. It's faster.
