problems with files not downloading

I can open all files that I choose, but when I try to open them for downloading, transferring to utorrent, the blank window opens, but nothing transfers to utorrent.
Only started happening two days ago, not long after the Crowdstrike debacle.
Anyone else having this issue>

Try clearing your browser cache, restarting your computer, or reinstalling uTorrent. The Crowdstrike issue might have changed a security setting, so check that too.
