Why Does AVG antivirus keep sending pop ups?
#1
when AVG blocks a dodgy website a pop up is shown saying " we blocked dodgywebsite.com  due to a scam " or something like that

ok so we close the browser tab to that allegedly dodgy site ( think a live streaming site showing sports )

, so why a few minutes later does the same AVG pop up appear ? sometimes itll do do this dozens of times an evening even though you are no longer on the alleged dodgy site !

please explain anyone that understands this thanks

and is there a way to stop the AVG warnings ?

It's a safety feature; unless you trust the source, you probably shouldn't unblock it.

If you do rust the source, you can add it in the Exclusions list.

In the world of keeping your computer safe, the last thing I'd ever trust is software that scans the entirety of your computer and provides you "common sense" at a price.

Well no, you do need an antivirus, maybe not the most expensive one, but you still need an antivirus.

The only exception is that you have a GNU/Linux or a BSD system, in which case, an antivirus maybe not be that important.
