freemake video downloader has backdoor

that software has been great for pulling videos off youtube etc but the last version they released now has a limit so only videos under 3mins long can be pulled for free, if you pay you can get longer vids ( free version used to have no limits) so i try get this copy but windows defender (win10 antivirus) detects Backdoor : MSIL / Noancooe.C      info on it is here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/thr...Noancooe.C   if you look in technical info it has quite a bit of info ..so is it unsafe to get this copy of freemake video downloader ? or is it just a patch/keygen being detected by microsoft ????

Well, video downloaders come in many forms, try IDM; it's not just a video downloader, it's an all-around download manager. It's a download manager that I trust the most - only if you can crack it.

I would use the Crackpatching cracks.

I also recommend KeepVid as it does not give you a time limit for a video and it is frequently cracked.

im always after ways to save tube videos off multiple sites

freemake video downloader, realplayer, IDM any others worth trying let me know especially anything that can save those jwplayer files off tube sites !

I use IDM for everything, and since I laid eyes on IDM, I never found the necessity to switch.

any1 know why the idm tab has stopped showing on chrome browser but is ok on interent explorer broswer ( was working for 1st few days i had this on chrome ) so now if i see a video i want to save i cant use chrome browser i have to use internet explorer

IDMGCExt.crx need to manually be dropped into Chrome extensions to enable in Chrome:

thanks i tried dragging that file into chrome extensions but nothing happens, i have chrome version 63 now , maybe newer versions of chrome break IDM ??

for video downloading just try any online grabber or jdownloader it has power feature to grab the videos from sites if you copy the site link, other way there are some chrome extensions that can grab videos from websites
