You do not die or get addicted to ANY drug if you do not abuse it.

I am deadly serious.
I challenge you to post any peer reviewed scientific study that supports your spurious claim. Even a reputable news article. I doubt you can find either.

Stating something in bold font doesn't make it true, shockingly.

Do I really have to state it was sarcasm ? on the other hand I don't blame you as I've seen people who really believe what I wrote as a joke.
But trust me, I'm the last person on earth to blame drugs for anything.

On a side note, in 2018 this is expected to be a basic principle.
But if the guy wants to say little maria juanita killed 2/3 of the planet... Most users become imbeciles, so in a way it "kills" the character.

Now for the deadly serious section:
Cocaine is by far the most widespread plague I know and responsible for a raise on real state value in Hell, Vegas, Medellin, Rio de Janeiro and others.
In the past, it was the opiates business, as promoted by the British Empire. The war in Afeganistan didn't help much.

I would like to inform you that what you did was not LSD. Or a ridiculously weak and possibly contaminated form of it. If you took 2 actual hits of real LSD you would know it. Trust me.

And on a side note, no one has ever died from an overdose of acid. Maybe gone insane temporarily, but that's it. And it's 100% not addictive.

I would like to inform you it was LSD, we had the whole sheet. I have a photo of it somewhere, you know back in the film days. At one time there was porn shops and they would develope anything, no questions asked. I am guessing this is before your time seeing as you just upload some porn pics to the broken pirate bay. 6000+ nipple pics I would imagine entertains such individual for awhile.  Tongue

And I'm telling you that if all that happened was that you saw some spots in a corner and got a headache, then you didn't take acid. Sorry, but you just didn't. That's not what LSD does. Not even close. IDK what you took, but it wasn't LSD.
The affect of LSD is more hardcore than just what you described. If they told you it was LSD, I'd be skeptical.Maybe it was a bad batch or something?

Or, It sounds like you took some sort of dis-associative drug, like DXM or Ketamine?  I have experience in that... Music sounds better, seems like your body falls away (kinda like a poor man's acid trip, but not exact ly. Unless I was doing way too much, the benefit f that was there was really NO side effects though. And I never seen red and blue dots.

Correct! But there's a reason a person get's addicted to any drug and that IS NOT THE DRUGS FAULT. The fault for that addiction lies inside the person.
There's always a reason behind some person getting addicted, and the reason can be low self esteem because of a bad childhood, maybe anoreksi, a girl misused
by her father, a boy getting beaten every day, what ever the cause you know what I mean. So the reason for the addiction is actually self medication.
People starts to over use a drug, because there's already something wrong inside and the drug is used as medication to get away from that feeling or feelings.

It's not the drug that draws you in with devil spells during the effect, making you a slave of the drug. Smile Like in the 80'ies when government propaganda told you
that if you tried Crack 1 time you would be addicted for the rest of your life! It's just pure bullshit.

Look, I'm really no expert on this. I've never tried having any withdrawals from drugs. Years ago I tried taking opiates 6 days in a row. And it where not taking the drug
every evening, nope I took it from morning to I crashed, but I took it only when the buzz where a bit down. You don't need to take that much opiates because it
works for so long time, up to 12 to 24 hours, but it's different from person to person. But on day 7 I didn't feel any withdrawal. I felt very tired, but that was mainly
from lack of sleep and slept soundly the next couple of days. You don't sleep much when on opiates and if you want to come down you take a downer, like benzo's.
Benzo's is another drug you have to take very care with!
Agree! The addiction and overdosing parts are all mind related.

People either try to chase the feeling of the first ever high (which can't really be done using the same amounts), or they have some mental issue to where they wanna forget what they know as their reality , so they over do it to "make sure" they accomplish their goal of being screwed up.  That's a fact for any substance (or thing), drugs, alcohol, TV watching, working out, eating, granny porn... Whatever releases those endorphins and allows you to forget life for awhile.

People need to research what they are doing. In your example, Benzos (which I have taken) provide a nice effect, but there are those that don;t realize that drinking alcohol with them can be fatal.

I guess Cocaine will always be a staple of hardcore drugs, but maybe your statement in general can apply more relatively to where a particular person is?
For example, Cocaine is not nearly as bad as the opiate epidemic where I live in the US... Mainly, Heroin laced with Fentanyl is probably the biggest drug killer. I believe I read that in the Western part of the US, crystal meth is bigger than on the East coast, but those numbers may be changing.
People drop left and right from heroin mixed with Fentanyl.

And As I stated above about the addiction, I've heard people who have made themselves so sick on this shit, they've actually said "I wish I had the bag that killed so-and-so, that must have been good shit!"  Can you believe the drug addicted ego lets them believe that they can handle what has proven to kill someone else? Either that or these people just don;t know what they are saying, or don't care about dying themselves...

But if you are going to do this shit, make sure you are in good physical AND mental health, but know even then it's still a roll of the dice...

I see red dots and white lines flowing like a Max Paine nightmare since I was a boy, without any kind of medication, just some health issues.
But no, never tried anything out of a couple times on pot, a few ocasions on ether while in school and some prescription pills.
In world terms coke is more common because it skyrockets egos already more inflated than Venezuela; it was even in a Chaplin movie; and no needles involved.
Don't worry about health prior using drugs. if one makes an habit, won't be healthy much longer.

Are you guys not abusing drugs if you are using it outside of the designated purpose (recreational use)?

Sure that may not be the case with marijuana (plant), but this is the case for synthetic narcotics.

Technically, I would consider even 1 extra pill than prescribed to treat actual pain is abuse... Once you take pills not to kill pain, but to get the euphoric effect for recreational use, that is using it for reasons other than its intended purpose.

But I guess it depends on the mindset. If you took more than was prescribed because you were in agony and needed to get out of pain , that's one thing. If you wanted the mind altering buzz, that's another... The reason we get that need to escape is personalized to the individual... I will never judge (if I did , I'd be a hypocrite).

Sometimes people take pot for medical use... Me personally, when I had cancer and chemo back in 1999. That helped me eat and made me sleepy (which took care of the nausea). I never cared for pot since I like to be up to feel the buzz, and I always got hungry and sleepy; but that helped in my recovery.

I say do whatever you want, just be smart and safe... Know when enough is enough and shut off the switch (I never had an off switch). The reason why I see firsthand in my state that heroin is deadly, is because you are not in control of what you get...Someones lacing it with shit you don't know and your body can't handle... Alcohol is made legally and in controlled places... Would you buy it if you thought it could be laced with something that can kill you??

The recreational use can be understood as "misuse" while overdoing it, or becoming addicted, can both be classified as "abuse".

Technically, being addicted wouldn't be an abusive behaviour, but is socially considered as so. Old greek said we should limit ourselfs in order to become better.

And LZA, speaking of moonshines and the prohibition, I guess the guy will have no problem with home made.

I've read that some drugs can make you addicted after one usage same way as you would be using it for years but don't know if that's true, didn't test my self and not gonna.

I have couple friends that said from own experience that after taking mushrooms in big dose it will irreversibly change you somehow, the way you think.
I only took them once and in a very small dose and can't say the same thing but I think any hard drug may harm your brain even after one usage, talking about sanity.
