You're right, but without ads is impossible to survive, due to server costs...personally I never had any problem with adf.ly I just wait 5 seconds and I close all popup... it's easy Wink
It always amazes me that they don't use the opportunity to advertise something useful and legitimate. If there was something advertised, I was seriously interested in, I'd have a look, but then you expect to get bombarded with Adware, junk and Viruses, so you don't!!
They have made it bad for themselves by letting arseholes set traps on that sort of advert!
Adfly is adware. Not one ad that is shown is a legitimate ad.

I've never had a problem with it, either. I was just warning the guy who was worried the ad was legit.

Same for 3dZone

I have attached a screen shot, this is what comes up everytime i click on a download link, both mega and google links.  Am i doing something wrong?

Looks like you're using Opera.  If that's the case, it blocks ad popups unless you turn it off.  So the message could be very legit.  There is a work around to go directly to the download site (google or mega) but, as anonymous wrote, he's trying to not lose money on this deal, so we'll just leave that alone.

Yeah, but I always test with different browser if eveything works fine! I have bitdefender and I have no problem with adf.ly Smile
Hey anonymous. There's one particularly bad pop up ad that is annoying as hell. It starts this beeping crap and then makes you close out the window 3 or 4 times before you can move on. It's trying to get the user to call some number because their computer is infected with a virus. I think that's the one that has problems with Opera. Firefox allows it pop up but Opera doesn't . It doesn't appear often, but when it does, it seems to create problems with Opera.
ah the classic bogus tech support scam. bad guys are using those to spread stuff like ransomware around to unsuspecting people. it’s very, very, dangerous of an “ad”. hence why adfly should never be used by anyone.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen those bogus tech support scams on adfly. Linkshrink is a different story. That's where I've seen most of them.
3dzone.link and 3d-stuff.ru are apparently both down :/
