The problems I have with 3DL are just with the top-level pages; the product-level pages with the google and mega drive links work fine. But it would still save me a lot of time to have the google drive links. I don't think I need the HTML. Excel sounds good, thanks again.

As for your seedbox, are you saying it automatically turns 3DL's links into downloaded content for you? Oh man, that sounds like Heaven.

Oh, btw, I used "seedbox" in my previous post only in a loose concept kind of way. It's just a crappy notebook running W10 at a friend's house. Smile

Hey, if it works it's not crappy!  No, I can't turn 3DL links (i.e. page links) into actual downloads, but it can turn ad.fly shortened links into google drive/mega/openload links and then download them automatically.  So I just scrape the html for the google drive link and then dump whatever it says into jdownloader.

I used a headless version because it's running in a docker container and I don't have a gui into it.  But you can run it on your notebook at your buddy's house, no problem.  just install http://jdownloader.org/jdownloader2 and set up a my.jdownloader.org account.  I control my downloads running on a server halfway around the world using my android phone!  https://my.jdownloader.org/apps/?ref=myjd_web

For example, here's what it looks like after the recent carnage.  Bear in mind, once I had a list of google drive/mega urls this was literally one click to process 2500 files.  The only thing you MUST remember, especially when dealing with DIM files, is to turn "Auto Extract" OFF.  Otherwise you'll end up with lovely directories full of all your files and you'll have to rezip them all up again.

BTW, check for a PM.
Heh. I can see now that I've been doing it all wrong. Smile Definitely gonna have to try your method. I suppose if my notebook can handle qBittorrent, it can handle a downloader.

It's got a bit of overhead, but it's usually okay.  The only real issue I've had with it was when I tried to download a couple million tumblr accounts.  Because it doesn't run a database with indexes and stores all it's configuration info in JSON files, after a few hundred thousand entries it starts using up too much CPU!!! but that's an easy fix, just delete all the entries in the "Downloads" tab.  I was keeping them in there as a lazy man's way of avoiding downloading duplicates, but it's not a postgresql database or anything, and it's not really meant for that task.  At least, not once you're over a few hundred thousand downloads.

Where it really shines is with captcha-based downloads.  You can dump a file in there and have it run and it'll send the captchas to your phone.  So while you're killing time at the doctor's office, log into my.jdownloader.org and start solving captchas.  Saves hours of your life of sitting there waiting for those stupid countdown timers.
"Couple million Tumblr accounts" lol, I'm not gonna ask.

"It's not crappy if it works" funny, I was reading an article the other day about how I shouldn't buy a crappy notebook like mine ($170 from Amazon) because the keyboard is crappy, the touchpad is crappy, the screen is crappy, etc. I was like "all very true," except, I don't need a keyboard, touchpad, or screen; the only time I lay hands on it is when it's locked up and a hard shut down and restart isn't solving the problem, and I have to go over there and figure out what's wrong with it. Maybe once a year. The rest of the time I'm using it over TeamViewer, and it works much nicer that way, using my desktop's keyboard, my desktop's mouse, and my desktop's screen. Smile

Hi guys, server was on a scheduled maintenance, anyway, it look like it's not working with Google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) , so I suggest to temporarily change your DNS with 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220, if you prefer you can also use "Obtain DNS server address automatically". And clear your browser cache and restart your system. I'm sorry for all these problems, I hope who they solve it quickly... In the meantime you can use this method, it should works fine. Smile
