Rifftrax Live Show is tonight!

Is this a funny movie in general? Last time I saw a Rifftrax Live they were riffing Octoman, and that was soo boring.

Great bad movie, but a truly awful sequel. The digital goodies link was /swamp

That was a really great show. It was a perfect RiffTrax movie. It was oh so stupid, had medium-level production values but it still looks cheap because the director has no imagination about how to film things, and bad performances from mostly terrible actors and a few who should know better. And it's from 40 years ago so it still looks like a movie, unlike bad movies of today.

It'll be interesting to see how they handle the home release of this one for one particular riff. Near the beginning of the movie there was a riff about Rick and Morty where one of them (can't remember who said it) gets into a Rick-ish voice and said "Don't be a pussy, Morty". I feel pretty certain that it was impromptu, and since it goes against the the more family friendly nature of Rifftrax, I'm guessing it'll be censored in some fashion.

I don't expect it to get censored.  The only edits they've done to Rifftrax content have been for jokes that were a bit too harsh in retrospect or downright bigoted.

I found this to be one of the better Rifftrax. Super funny throughout (rather than just at the beginning), great short, and the cameos before were fun to see.
