I don't like how so many contemporary films with a female protagonist depict a woman who is supernatural
unbelievable corporeal strength, agility, dexterity. just maxed out in all stats
here's Ripley, cunning but not infallible, operates a mechanical exoskeleton to bend steel, protects children but will kill a brood if she's got to
I'll end my rant with it's more like real life, that makes it better, easier to suspend disbelief
I hear from red letter that the new aliens is good for a bit but then falls into tropes or weird forced callbacks and that all smacks of corporate bs.
did anyone here see it?

Many thx Tripletap!   I have a question: Did the Jaboody crew uses to release movies more frequently? Just curious. I thought they used to put out a couple a week but maybe it's just me being bad at keeping time.

During October they do two a week. Also if they miss a week they might due an extra for the week after that.

I guess we should be seeing double movies starting this or next week if the boys still do that this year. There must be thousands upon thousands of great horror movies they could do so getting an extra bonus movie every week of the month was always great. Oh I didn't end up watching Dark Crystal while on shrooms.... all of those fuckers are just too disgusting to look at. Lol. But I did play side by side the new Katamari game that just came to xbox together with their dub of The Blob and that was fun as hell.

Just watched my first Jaboody - The Warriors - and really enjoyed it.
What are your guys' favorites of their riffs?

E.T. was hilarious. The Harry Potter saga was surprising in the best ways. Being a bit older than the boys I do enjoy seeing them watch some older stuff for the first time that I have fond memories of. Neil Breen movies are a total mess and that makes for fun commentary. But the all time of all time is Tiptoes for me.
