Well that sucks, Rik Mayall was a genius. I loved Bottom and got my nick from that show... can't believe he's dead at only 56... a truly unique comedy talent.

His name was actually spelled 'Prick' (the P was silent, like in the bath).
A legend of comedy timing and general digustingitude. The Young Ones needs an HD transfer!! Cliff demands it!

This is so sad. I used to watch his shows with my dad when I was a wee little shit. RIP Rik Mayall, you are gone but you will not be forgotten.

Not familiar with him at all, but anyone with talent to bring joy to others deserves kudos...Rip man! Sorry I didn't know of you when you were alive...
