Mobile filesharing apps

Which mobile filesharing apps have you tried?

I like trying all of them.

I tried a rare client that I really like. It is called LN Torrent. It is a fork of LibreTorrent, I believe. It is no longer being updated. The last update was in 2021, but I find that it performs just fine. The app is no longer on Google Play and it has more or less disappeared from the Internet. At the time that I compared it with LibreTorrent, I found that LN Torrent performed better.

Now it is only available on one site:

I suppose a lot of mobile users go with LibreTorrent these days.

When I tried the mobile version of uTorrent I didn't like it because I thought at the time that it lacked necessary features. It could have changed since that time. I haven't tried it in a while.

I also tried uTorrent and a few other Android clients; most lack functionality - but the web clients for PC also lack them.
Reason I quit using mobile torrent clients is my ISP, telco seems to be using data shaping. I can use my mobile to route internet to my PC and use any client on it, but not on the mobile itself.

try this app with the tab "Steam", which is file sharing:
https://f-droid.org/de/packages/org.purple.smoke/
with this server
https://f-droid.org/de/packages/org.purple.smokestack/

I read, that the Steam-Transfer is not only encrypted, but also swarms.
We could test in a smaller group to see the swarming functions: Add a friend and send him in the Stream Page a file, tap on the file and get the context menu, there is Rewind and Steamroll. This enables swarming to others.

I guess it's better to get a VPN, it will cover all of my mobile traffic, not only p2p.
