question for my monstervision geek friends: when joe bob aired highlander, did he show the theatrical cut or the director's cut?

runrunbill, when you made your HD version, which cut did you use?

i don't know highlander well enough to easily spot the differences.

I, believe, it was the theatrical on MonsterVision and edited for TV.  It is really difficult to tell due to being edited for time and content.  But I am almost certain the MonsterVision version is the theatrical.  It doesn't have some sound effects like when two immortals meet there is wooshing whirring sound like a discovery type sound and it misses the WWII scene where he finds his assistant as a child.  I checked the MonsterVision episode and my Director's cut LaserDisc.

is the friday the 13th marathon different from the most previous version?

Yes. Thanks. I forgot to mention that.

The host segments are supposed to be from a new source and upscaled to 1080p. The video looks brighter and more smooth. However, the audio still has the same issues.

I plan on using this newer version when I finally get around to creating a V4 of my marathon FanEdit.
