Trump saying all mexicans are rapists.
Trump saying we should ban muslims.
Trump saying a judge can't be impartial because he's mexican.
Trump's company not renting to black people.
Trump refusing to condemn David Duke.
Trump claiming Obama wasn't born in the US.

Trump mocking a disabled reporter.
These examples go far beyond any acceptable definition of mere "dissenting opinion".
Trump is such a narcissist, he BELIEVES he’s not wrong when he says shit like this... He says people like to hear (some people) . They think his truth as he tells it is “refreshing”, but it isn’t it’s pompous. He needs to reign himself in . I still don’t know who I’m voting for yet… Clinton's college professor on evil and lying (and money grubbing) was Satan himself! And Trump has to remember, he’s not with his lackey and yes men who have to agree. The scary thing is I think he may be a good prez, if he wasn’t so god dammed narcissistic. I wonder if he cares too much about his ego than running a country… But like Big Dad E said, he isn’t a politician

Do you think their policies failed because of them not trying, or the Republican gridlock in Congress? If Obama was a GOP member, I think the same Republicans who hate him now would pass the shit he wanted passed. This is becoming too much of a Dems vs GOP than a government trying to fix the country. I agree about the 401k and retirement plans. 2008 the sequel is coming soon… The only reason I’m glad I’m broke… Nothing for me to really lose!!! I joke, but it’s not funny.

We can agree it's enough to make you sick. But casting a vote for someone as reckless, dishonest, and fundamentally mean-spirited as the "non-politician" Donald Trump will solve absolutely nothing. It can only make matters worse.
One thing I heard, they are thinking of Term limits for Congress… That would keep things fresh… Trump is killing himself for being the only one on the world he thinks is right. I’ve needed seen a party actually consider dropping their own candidate.

i never stated he didn't, if you read it again it states "government" which bush was a big fan also. obama just prints more money and gives it to iran. All Demos print more money… One principal I agree with republicans on. Part reason why our dollar is devalued…
(Aug 17, 2016, 05:11 am)joew771 Wrote: Trump is awful. Hillary is even more awful. But I'll remind everyone again, especially the non-Americans, that our president isn't really that powerful.
Our president can't launch nuclear weapons willy nilly. They can't change any laws. They can't do much of anything without the agreement of the other 2 branches of government. The legislative, and the judicial.
Let's say Trump wanted to build a wall between Mexico and the US and then wanted to launch nukes at Mexico City. He couldn't do that at all. Unless Congress agreed with that, and it looks like they will probably be democratic. And even if they weren't it isn't like the republican senate would vote to bomb Mexico. That's silly.
Trump would have the power to veto some new laws if any came up and propose some, that if too ridiculous, would be vetoed themselves. Otherwise he couldn't do all that much.
That is why so many of our presidents didn't do what they had promised to, including Obama, and most of the rest of them. They aren't all powerful. America doesn't elect a dictator.
Everybody relax. Both candidates suck, but we just have to wait 4 years and hopefully a better one will come along.
I just wish that the Congress elections were held 1 month before, so I can see who will be the majority party there. I'm up for voting NO GRIDLOCK!
The ONLY reason I believe Obama didn’t accomplish as much, is because the government is majorly GOP. Clinton would be as ineffective as Obama if it stays that way, so Trump may be the change IF Congress stays majority republican. If the dems win congress, and Trump gets in, I believe they will be more willing to work with him… So I’ll say change will occur is Trump gets in, or if Hillary gets in an Congress turns majorly Democratic.
You right though , 4 more years hopefully there will be a better candidate…

I have no idea what picklock said. Sorry picklock. I think it was something about how money controls the election. not really sure.
Same with LZA. I think he said something similar. Again not sure.
Picklock I can forgive since he doesn't speak english (sorry PL), but LZA I can't forgive for being incomprehensible.
Either way, Hillary is true evil. Trump is probably evil.
We have no good choice, but I'd pick the probably evil over the definitely evil.
I hate them both. We'll do better in 4 years. We can't do worse.

I thought the "real issue" was Trump's racism. Not Hillary's baggage (funny line though), not Bob Beckel (what impact does he have?), and certainly not Saul Alinsky (why on earth are we even talking about him?). What does any of that have to do with who Trump is at a fundamental level? It's all misdirection, smoke and mirrors, or so it seems to me.
well it's a two sided coin and clinton is the other side since the election is about those two. clinton wrote about alinsky for her thesis at wellesley, (an elitist college) and met with him several times. bob beckel is a democrat strategist and was working for her campaign until he wasn't. i could call you a racist and how could you prove you weren't? you couldn't. the establishment republicans anointed jeb bush but the non-traditional republicans to their credit said no to the bush dynasty and i concur twelve years of bush presidents is enough already. the democrats rebooted clinton 2.0 and many said no to that too and supported bernie and we now know the dnc rigged it for hillary. her foundation is in the crosshairs and many disturbing facts will come out about the corruption, btw 96% of the clinton's charitable donations were to their foundation. i gave more to real charities than they did. it all just smells bad, she's on the c.f.r. and the world bank and is a globalist that is greedy and power crazy. she's already been shown to be a liar regarding her emails and libya. i don't kick people off the irc channel unless they are spammers or pedos. some mods kick racist ranters even one on this thread. me? i don't censor and respect your opinions and all the others too. so we can agree to disagree. cheers m8!

Wow. So many people are taking this election so seriously. It's not really a big deal. It never is. Congress and the Senate have more power than the president anyway.
I hope Clinton isn't elected because it's not time for a woman to be president yet. Maybe next time. I'm not against a woman president, but right now it would be bad. Noone would support her. I mean the congress, senate, and supreme court. Plus she is a horrible person. Truly horrible.

I would hope ALL elections are taken seriously.I think moreso in THIS case, because never in my lifetime have I seen two more nondeserving candidates up for election, and people are in an uproar. I am not, for the reasons you expressed. Congress will never give these idiots all power like they did with Hitler.
Just sucks that the greatest naton in the world can't be represented by having the greatest leadership... That's All I'm thinking of... You're right though, shit aint gonna come crashing down around us, whomever gets in...

Yeah big_dad_e, I'd be desperately posting pictures like the one above if my candidate had just been revealed to say he likes to "grab 'em by the pussy!" on a hot mic.
