Why not share your settings, or at least give some general description on how you do it?

If you are streaming them from online media server through a computer  to your tv you will have
to have the right video card that will handle HDR.  Why don't you just run them direct off a external drive direct to your tv?
You LG should have a built in media player. And if this is too complicated for you...
for get handbrake for it is more complicated than this you are trying to do.

Besides that is the stupid and hard way....just run them direct or get the right tv for streaming.
Not only that but you have to take into account every movie you run through your tv it is going to upscale it.
Or try too.

The best way to watch HDR movies on your HDR tv is to download them and run them direct
off an external hard drive through the built in media player.

Any other way will be secondary to it.
