Help Needed

many a times when i download a torrent i get a .dat file and and an exe file ....the instructions says to run exe file file and then set the path to .dat file .....and when i run exe fie i get the error that MSVRC100.DLL not installed ..please help

First and foremost, I recommend checking the source of the torrent; it looks suspect.

That being said, the website for all your DLL needs: https://www.dll-files.com/

Still, keep a watch on that torrent unless you trust the sources and know what you're doing.

Be sure to click on the.exe and run it then you will know  all will become clear

Update your Microsoft Visual C++ redist, AFAIK msvcr100 is from the 2010 version

If its a dll issue you could probably download the dll file and copy/paste it in the parent directory.Dll download
But normally even a boot strapper will not ask to set the path to some unknown .dat file. Its probably infested with malwares.
Even if u installed the exe file u didn't mention what program was it for. Probably ur pc is already in neck deep with viruses and malwares.
Do u h' a anti-virus, i suggest u install a very light antii-virus called Smadav 2022 , its extremely light but paid version.
