Did you try the old-fashioned way? I meant,

1. Backing up your files.
2. Putting the 64-bit DVD/USB into the appropriate input device/port and waiting for the media in question to load itself in Windows.

That's how I would do it.

Hope this helps.

I am sorry it did not help Sad i mean...i have "engrave"(if that's the right verb) win 7 64 bit to a dvd, and then i have installed the USB-DVD tool, and after that i have installed the activation, when i restart my computer i press f9 then i wait a few seconds, after that i start installing win7 64bit.i choose the language and time,,,etc.... then "install now"
i choose upgrade ( not costume) and then it gives me that weir message where it says "Remove the installation disc; restart your computer so windows can start normaly, and then upgrade your computer ....." ( or something like that).
The only option that i get with that message is "Close" if i click "Close", i cancel the installation, if i click the "x" at the top right corner , it's the same.

OK, it is not physically possible to perform an upgrade from 32 to 64 bit Windows so all you can do is backup your files then install 64 bit windows from scratch.

There are many ways to backup your settings and files but Id recommend Windows Easy Transfer since you already have it.
