Windows Defender vs Full-Scale Antivirus: Which is better for window 2019?

When it comes to defending a PC running Windows 10 facing viruses, malware, and other malicious warnings, Windows Defender is the default choice since it comes pre-installed on Windows 10. So, I think it is the best defender for a window.

I entirely disable Win Security Center, from Firewall to Win Defender. Utterly worthless.

When suspicious of downloads I use VirusTotal of Emsisoft commandline scanner.

Also: Have a HUGE hosts file, and have browsers armed to the teeth. NoScript, Ghostery, AdBlocker +

And chopped the crap out of Services - nothing resembling remote desktop or
background transfers allowed. See the BlackViper site - a *start*.

Personally I do not use it, however, when I am helping other people out with their computers I will recommend it to them because it can do basically the same stuff that the full suites do except it doesn't seem to waste as much system resources and it comes with windows. It saves them from the cost and the nagging of the other suites.
