How Popular is Windows Defender in 2019?
#1
How much of SuprBay's audience is keen on using Windows Defender as a matter of preference?

When I do build a computer that works, I might consider using it once I also get a custom-made version Windows 10 Pro from Team OS, if I should do that (but they seem to be on the level).

What do you think? Should I use Windows Defender on my new computer, or should I just use AVG, Avast, Avira, or some other damn thing?

i always disable windows defender using group policy editor and never use others antivirus software. i think that AV just waste system resources and make my 10 years old PC becoming slow down...

he..he.. that is sound very dangerous heh...

i frequently reinstall my windows. ussually my OS not live more than 6 month...
rarely try new softwares, especially from pirate source...
never pluged USB flashdisk from friends...
when browsing i use adblock, also never open strange website...
i think it is enough to secure my PC...

also, if i am very curious with some new softwares or websites, i use Virtual PC/VirtualBox. luckily i have processor with Intel VT features...

If you don't pirate, why would you upload Windows activators?

Not trying to pry into your privacy, never mind.

OK, does anyone else find Defender to be a good main antivirus? How does it compare to Windows Security Essentials?

I just hate to switch, but if I have to, I will.

it is ok my friend RobertX. i don't mind you say that...
i don't say never pirate, but say rarely pirate...
my uploads/shares in TPB for showing my contribution in here...

and i almost forgot to say that, by not using any of antivirus software, i make multiboot OS to manage my PC. if one OS messed, i still have several OS in same PC. hopely this info useful for you RobertX.

and everyone, we are waiting all of you to answering RobertX question: is Win Defender still a good AV?

I know people hardly use antiviruses in Linux since there aren't really any, let alone a Windows Defender equivalent.

update from me:
downloading ISO from microsoft, Win 10 19H1, installing Pro version.
when i try to disable Win Defender using Group Policy, it is always showing blue screen error and automatic restart.
it seem starting version 19H1, Win Defender will become popular again until we find new method to disable it...

only have one PC.
but everythings still OK in here, because i only installing 19H1 in other partition along side with some OS at different partitions.
if this 19H1 making trouble, i just need to format that partition and delete start-up using bcdedit by booting with other OS.
