I wonder if they will start digitally watermarking their riffs so they know who uploads it.

That sounds like it'd be incredibly resource intensive to do on the fly as users download them. They might be able to pull off some kind of text based meta tagging, but that's the sort of thing that would be trivial to strip off in about ten seconds by anyone who knows what they're doing.
