Formatting a Hard Drive That Has Windows 8/8.1
#11
Go it nell, thank you all.

I wasn't fond of Secure Boot, so I will disable it, if I do get my hands on another motherboard (or if I do get deluded enough to buy Windows 8/8.1).

Again, thanks to everyone who made an effort to answer my insane questions. Smile

I think I got all the answers here, but if you are confused about what I'm trying to have answered, this is what I "want" to do:

1. Format a computer that already has Windows 8/8.1 and Secure Boot on.
2. Reformat and re-install Windows 8/8.1 with Secure Boot on.

Now, I am under the impression that I should disable Secure Boot if I am to hold on to Windows 8/8.1 anyways. Is that the correct assumption?
