White Russian, Cannabis Vodka, Cosmopolitan, Jager, Jagger Bomb, Graveyard Cocktail, JD & Coke
Not sure if these will go into your "project" but these drinks I believe I discovered while playing alcoholic tennis. If you lose a point you take a drink, goes on for six games straight. Anyway while these drinks have hilarious names, how do they fair in your opinion?

Funnily enough, russian's were the order of the day just yesterday. I've had black russian's before, and liked them, but they were a bit too "fancy" for me to make regulars in the old days.
Anyway, made them up properly for a comparison and it turns out they're OK but they wouldn't be something I would bother having again tbh. Though I do plan to watch The Big Lebowski at some point and apparently white russian's feature heavily in that so I'll drink them again then.
Black Russian: 5 cl vodka, 2 cl kahlua
White Russian: 5 cl vodka, 2 cl kahlua , 2 cl cream
Dirty Black Russian (which was what I had drunk before without realizing it was a variant): 5 cl vodka, 2 cl kahlua, topped with coke
Cosmopolitan is something I'll be trying within the next few days. It's a vodka drink but I'll also be trying a Rude Cosmopolitan which is the Tequila variant.
Graveyard? Have you actually had one? It sounds like an even more fundamentally misguided idea than a Long Island Iced Tea. I'm not (and never have) been looking to get as pissed as possible as quickly as possible. Other than that, I don't see any point to drinks like that.
JD & Code: was my default drink for many years. Not really sure I want to drown a classier bourbon with coke. I'm drinking a Moonbow while I'm typing this (bourbon, simple syrup, orange juice, lime juice, cranberry juice). It's supposed to have ginger ale...but I've just realised I forgot that. haha... It's still an ok drink though. But I'll have to make another one properly before I can tick it off.

Nope, it was something my friend had, but yes no real enjoyment and on that I must agree.
Looks like you miss sometimes having ingredients. Do you ever substitute or experiment around with the drinks yourself?

I'm planning to work on variations later, once I've pared down a shortlist of what I really do really really like, but at this point I'm...learning basic repertoire so to speak. i.e. existing drinks. So if I don't have an ingredient I don't make the drink. When I run out of drinks I can make with what I have I'll buy more stuff. And I am adding things along the way. Grenadine for example (another reason I can't make Sex on the Beach yet). I've found out how you make it--pomegranate juice + sugar--so next time I go to the market I'll look for some of that.
Incidentally, trying a port[o] flip as I type this. It's a big disappointment. It is a genuinely existing cocktail but I don't think the port flavor suits the style AT ALL. Luckily I made a brandy flip for a friend at the same time and she doesn't like it so I'll be able to follow the dodgy one with a yummy one.
EDIT. oh, just realized I misinterpreted what you said. I didn't leave the ginger ale out intentionally, I have some sitting in the refrigerator, I just forgot to put it in.

It was to some extent epic. Normal stranding kills by dehidration in 72h. Intoxication make it faster, passing out is worse.
Someone didn't take the maritime basic safety course seriously...

I forgot something. You know what's a good high powered drink you can have straight up? Rumplemintz...
That tastes like a super intense version of those red mint hard candies.

I assume you mean Rumple Minze peppermint schnapps? Not trying to be funny I'd just never heard of it so had to google and that's the closest I could find. I've had a quick look around and it doesn't look like I can get that particular brand here, but there are other brands.
Schnapps is a "secondary" spirit which (like Absinthe) I do want to try but I'll get the more mainstream stuff under my belt first. [To make things a bit easier to get a grip on I'm generally trying to avoid flavored spirits to begin with. Schnapps, like vodka, comes in so many different flavors it's not funny. When I get to it I'll first be looking for a good basic schnapps which I can try in different drinks. And then if I like the basic spirit then I'll branch out.] So far I've found I generally prefer the darker spirits, bourbons, rums, whiskies to the lighter ones like gin and vodka.
But cheers nevertheless

Yes, that's is exactly what I meant... HAHHAHHAHH Sorry. To me, it is so good I didn't need to mix it with anything.

That reminds me of a friend. He used to drink the cheapest cheap he could find on a bar. Had some excentric taste too.
Damn fool here went out with that bro to drink and see the ladies one night. Big mistake.
What he had (and I decided to try) only exists here, I guess. Parts cinamon, banana, and some spice, on cheap cane surplus alcohol.
Gee cowboy, that tastes like police issue shock gas.

Gee sorry, checking back I notice yor post.
What is a craft and even more an IPA ?
I know beer are light or heavy and both can be dark, altough only the thick can be trully a dark beer, and they're made of barley, wheat and others.
Definitely german beers are amongst my favorites.
And since you guys have a taste for wines (wich I rarely taste), try the romenian stuff; sweet, very fruity, colorful aroma, vibrant dark cherry color, suave.
Perfect after lunch. Sorry, don't remember names.

With that info, SID, many of your posts make sense.
I myself is not much of drinker. I do like the early effects of alcohol, but the later ones I really don't! Binge drunk = agressive/annoying.
But I do enjoy a GT for taste and effect and Wine for taste.
I rather prefer the effects of opiates instead once and a while, for my lulz, and if it's a big evening I would add a speedball.
Great stuff, but take care with it, mates.
