Simple yet fun Christmas movie. Mild spoiler alert. Ending a bit reminiscent of 'The Secret: Dare to Dream' (2020), which is another fine movie.

you have to make sure you watch the directors cut. its almost 4hrs long and it makes it a great film. The theatrical version cut too much and butchered it.

Police Academy 1984 was pretty good many years after ifirst saw it

Fatal attraction 1987 : still puts you off having an affair , decent film

Aliens SE 1986 special edition , great scifi

American made: tom cruise as drug runner , not bad

Die hard 2 : good action movie

french Connection 2 : gene hackman, this is no where near as good as the original

A year old. But everything in it's own time, i suppose.

This is actually a Documentary Film. But i hope i can file it here as it is a 'film'.
[Can pl. be moved to the Docu thread, if required. I just don't have the energy to format it as required.]

However i must note, it has the thrills of an Alien movie and Pixar Animation moments.
So, as good as a Movie.

The Green Planet - 9.2/10 (IMDb)
A 5 part series. I consider it the best among the BBC Earth Shows.

Everything about it is excellent.
Direction, BGM, Narration (Sir DA is at his happiest i think).
The Camera work and editing is superlative.
Am sure lot more new techniques have gone into the making.
Panning time-lapse is something i haven't seen before.

And it is mostly about plants.

Still amazed by how and when Chemistry becomes Biology.
After 2 episodes of being amazed, i got a sense of 'oh the same old camera effects'.
But the stories and narration simply make you watch it.

And, i only watched a SD version.

Lots of jaw-dropping moments.

They should watch this at the next COP meeting.
There is almost no preachy stuff about climate change, but a gentle tug to appreciate what beauty and intelligence lies around us.
Am yet to watch the last episode.

Don't miss !
