Sorry. Poor attempt at humor. If only Film Crew did it it'd be a perfect crime. But I agree that the song was like the worm in Chekhov's ear.

Moontrap (1989)
Stars Walter Koenig and Bruce Campbell (in a non-intentionally comedic role). Plot involves an alien invasion by a race of predatory cyborgs. The cyborg that assembles itself out of office equipment makes for great fun. Avoid the 2017 sequel. It just sucks.

A not to be missed movie event, with some of the best dialogue ever!
