Democratic House Investigations of Trump Mega Thread

The 25th Amendment was designed mainly for temporary transfer of power during illness or surgery, and permanent transfer only if the POTUS was terminally incapacitated, as it was drafted after JFK when questions were raised what would have happened if he *survived* with only half a brain - as a vegetable. The thought of that moron Jackie running the country was a bit too much. And reminded them of Wilson.

Mental incompetence is certainly no barrier to political success. Reagan had Alzheimers. Clinton was a psychopath. dubya was burnt out from too much booze and cocaine. barry was a pothead. chump is a senile horndog.

But... he at least is azzhole enough to think about self-preservation for himself and his progeny. A major war would severely hurt his realestate empire. Not so much for the war mongers whose investments are largely financial, with alot overseas, and if their bunkers are deep enough, can come out of a nuke war smelling like roses. They neither believe in global warming, nor global winter. Plus, newer nukes produce less fallout.

In other words, those bassturds think they can win at the Global Thermonuclear War game. And at the same time get rid of all those useless eaters biting into their taxes and profits. Think Georgia Guidestones. Alot of the effing libertarians and neolibs take that crap seriously.

If one isn't required to do a sanity check to drive a car, carry a gun, manage a bank, or hold the nuke box, why would a president?
If sanity (or just common sense) is a must, that should be checked before candidates are allowed to run for the job.

Obama used to smoke pot when he was in college, but in the decades since he occasionally sneaked a regular cigarette.

You have Clinton and Trump a bit reversed here.  Both were horndogs, but Clinton wasn't a psycho.  A sell-out for giving Republicans and Wall Street  some of what they wanted ( repeal of Glass-Steagal, NAFTA, increasing private prisons, Telecommunications Act of 1996 ).  Bill getting a blowjob from his intern and lying about that under oath made the party that impeached him look very foolish, but that he cheated on Hillary wasn't crazy.

As for Trump, indeed he's senile and surely a narcissist and a sociopath.  But a psychopath ?  He threatened Kim Jung Un two summers ago, and threatened a first-strike.  And yet still World War III hasn't broken out.  Now he loves the guy.  Hmm.... maybe he is a psycho!  Rolleyes

Big news:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/nat...story.html

Quote:Justice Department officials are preparing for the end of special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s nearly two-year investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and believe a confidential report could be issued in coming days, according to people familiar with the discussions.

The special counsel’s investigation has consumed Washington since it began in May 2017, and it increasingly appears to be nearing its end, which would send fresh shock waves through the political system. Mueller could deliver his report to Attorney General William P. Barr next week, according to a person familiar with the matter who, like others, spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive deliberations.
Regulations call for Mueller to submit to the attorney general a confidential explanation as to why he decided to charge certain individuals, as well as who else he investigated and why he decided not to charge those people. The regulations then call for the attorney general to report to Congress about the investigation.

Presidents don't create jobs.  The private sector does.

Get your facts straight before you come at me little goof.

The Mueller report shouldn't be confidential that long.  The question is if the U.S. House can get a copy simultaneously without A.G. Bill Barr from making too many edits and other redactions.   This is two months short of the 2-year mark since Comey was fired and the investigations began.  So it's been more than enough time to investigate many -- but not all -- of Trump's various criminal activities. Don't forget that Donald Trump himself admitted to Lester Holt in an NBC interview that he fired James Comey because of the Russia / Trump investigation that was already underway at the time. That's blatant Obstruction of Justic.

We also know that domestically this president violated the U.S. Constitution by declaring a National Emergency ( when there was none ) by circumventing the Congress and allocating money he wasn't authorized to touch!

The House is going to supplement what Mueller's team found, and they will question the important witnesses.   What about Trump, Jr. , Jared, and possibly Ivanka ? Could it be that some or all of them are on the Mueller list to be indicted ?  Either way I'd love to see them grilled in televised hearings !   That will be the president's family lying and / or pleading the 5th on TV, and the Democratic House members pointing out the facts to them and the world.

Clinton was chosen from his psych file. He was groomed from his Rhodes Scholarsip days. Pure psychopath. As in arkancide. The bimbos were non-sequitor to the issues. He gleefully adopted the Third Way after reflecting on how destructive it would be.

barry was groomed by Zbiggy, as a bright but totally effed up looney tune. Pothead, aparent gay, A childhood around k00ks. A blank slate for the ultimate manipulation. Pathological liar: Bingo.

Zbiggy wasnt going to fail this time like he did with Carter.

chump is a cross between PT Barnum, and Don Corleone. Out of his element, but not patho;ogical. Erratic enough to be unnpredictable.
Motto is "Ignorance is Strength".

Not quite..... Donald Trump is a life-long serial liar.  It's been proven that he's told over 8000 lies in his first 2 years in office !

Obama was a centrist-Democratic president.  He tried to appeal to everyone, including the Republicans out to destroy him from Day One. He also trusted former Bush, Jr. aides such as Michael Froman, who fooled Barack into thinking the TPP trade agreement was somehow going to bring millions of jobs back to the U.S. .... when in reality it would have done much the opposite.  His entire party was against him on that one.  Fortunately the TPP died due to public outcry, and before Trump took office.

barry was totally pwned by the Deep State. Personally I think he was blackmailed, Either with fudgepacking material. or porno movies of his mother with Frank Davis. Possibly also the birth certificate. His records have been sealed tighter than chumps tax returns.

The TTP and TTPIP were mercifully cancelled, but there is another floating around, unmentioned, that may be just as bad, but for the life of me cannot remember its acronym.

If the chump can continue to keep making enemies, whie toning down wars, the stage might be set for our empire to make a soft landing as part of a multilateral world. The demise of the trade treaties, as well as nafta was a severe setback for neoliberal plan to centralize korporate power, so we can look for Sanders in 2020 to play the 'good cop' after 'bad cop' is defeated. A deep state shill, at least he is a fascist with a friendly face.

Well, this "Deep State" seems to be whoever one side chooses it to be.  The most corrupt White House in U.S. History is in power right now.  Most of us Americans see that as what I like to call "Deep State Nine" ( Star Trek fans will get that pun ).   However, that same administration sees the Obama former cabinet as the "Deep State".  Trump typically reverses reality into the fantasy of accusing others of his and his billionaire staff's blatant criminality and bending the U.S. Constitutional to suite their own selfish needs, as they continue to dismantle the very departments they were appointed to head.  Psychiatrists call that "classic projection".

I made this go off-topic somewhat by bringing up Obama, but there's no question by anyone with common sense that his 1961 Hawaii birth certificates -- long form and short form are real. Trump took over that movement, because it made headlines and got his sagging Apprentice ratings up. But people such as Orly Taitz were just as guilty of advancing that ridiculous storyline.  I don't believe the Birther movement started because he's black ( albeit half-black ), but because Barack Obama, Sr. and the former President's brother were / are Kenyans .   Barack, Jr. was born in this country to his American mother, but they visited his brother in Kenya when he was a child.

The Michael Cohen hearings -- public testimony :

https://youtu.be/1yCtaPHoxB0

Cohen presented several documents, such as proof of the $130,000 hush-money payment to Stormy Daniels. That's proof of campaign FRAUD.

Here's $35,000 that Trump paid back as president to Cohen in August 2017 . It was one of eleven checks that year :
