True. This is the first time this has happened with a copy of a Blu-Ray using DVDfab. No PS3 or anything else 4 me. I am copying Jurassic World [again] with the latest version of DVDfab. It did warn of Cinavia limitation, but only warned about playback on PS3 [and I am using "hardware Blu-Ray"]
Once again, AnyDVD works fine with DVDs, but NOT Blu-Rays unless you have a legit installation.

OP: Sorry for the mixup, I am glad that the other Blu Rays didn't give you that much trouble. I too heard that mostly Sony Blu Ray movies will choke when ripped. If what you said about AnyDVD is true, I guess I wish you the best in being able to buy AnyDVD. I still have my doubts about your claims though. If you do feel adventurous, maybe, just maybe...

What do you mean by insist? Insist to say that improvise is wrong? Well I sure don't want to step over toes, but that's what I was told.

to infect their products with cinavia. before that they were allowed
not to infect them. some chose to, some chose not to.
you'll have to buy them 2nd hand, of course, but that
doesn't mean they don't exist.

I guess the question is will the above Blu-Ray player play a "copied" Blu-Ray with the Cinavia prot [intact]? This is different from playback of an original Blu-Ray?

EDIT: Alright, OP, I know the error of my claims: I didn't mention that at the year 2012, all newly-manufactured Blu Ray players made at and after that year would be retrofitted with Cinavia, not before. It's not completely wrong, but it's misleading. I apologise for the error.
