In the latest versions of ConvertXtoDVD, most cracks out there are mostly daft.
What I mean is that most cracks would insert an anti-piracy warning during the end of a clip in a final product of a DVD, ruining it.
I've tried a couple of them and they mostly turn out the same way; they would normally put a "do not pirate this software" warning, or words to that effect. Adding to that, they would show a web page of their site "warning" you that the software is pirated.
What would you guys recommend doing (Don't say stop using ConvertXtoDVD!)? Which upload of ConvertXtoDVD is recommended? I mean, should I continue using uploads from members who have pink/green skulls?

Usually if you've left your Network Adapters open you'll get that issue

I can't link it, I forgot where it came from. I can assure you though, that it does that in the latest versions of the time of writing.
Apologies, but what do you by "left your network adapters open?"
I used my firewall to block all connections that ConvertXtoDVD makes to the Internet. My Zonealarm firewall says so! 
Well, I'll revert to an earlier version.

All you've mentioned will conflict IMO.
M$ Defender and a simple script should suffice.
Post the version or link.

EDIT: Maybe an answer, I don't know. When I opened the crack downloaded from here,

the crack said that I should remove blacklisted keys. My thinking is that maybe I didn't remove blacklisted keys when upgrading. To those who have the same problem as I do, install and, within the installer, try to wipe clean everything from the previous version and tell if it works or not.
