my isp has blocked piratebay and all the proxies, however this one works...
http://piratepiratepirate.com/

i'm reluctant to use Tor because "anydesk" which is a remote viewing application, somehow added itself to my tor folder.

thanks

Slow but works fine, for the original domain try using free version of proxpn (vpn) - worked for me in the past, easy to use.

Apart from being slow and showing more ads than TPB, it is fine.

Dont use straight TOR - its not meant for binary downloads anyway. Use 'TOR Browser' - a Firefox clone, and useĀ
uj3wazyk5u4hnvtk.onion as the address.
It will not use system associations, and link associations are discouraged for security reasons. Copy the magnt links and paste them into the Torrent cliient.

A good policy is to disable any and all Remote Desktop services in Win, which should disable any apps that run off those services. Check the BlackViper site for advice there.
