I'm reading Wake of the Wahoo. I riveting true story about the USS Wahoo, a daring US WWII submarine responsible for revolutionizing submarine warfare. Bastards were fucking awesome.
Just finished
Night Film by Marisha Pessl. I would highly recommend this book to almost anyone who enjoys a good twist and a long detective/mystery story. It was Dark & Gritty and very interesting. It felt like a new world was made in my mind.
Discworld by Terry Pratchett
I'm up to 11 in the series, reading them in number order, and I might have need to take a break to read up on something more serious before continuing. Overall a really adventurous series full of humor. (Think Xanth but with a lot less puns, and actually witty/funny.)
Have begun reading Shantaram by Australian Gregory David Roberts. Not sure i'll be able to complete this mega tome of 900+ pages.
But there's news, that the book will at last be made into a motion picture, produced by Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt (?). Perhaps if I start now I might be ready in time for the movie !
