So... I'm a big horror movie fan, so I'll be sharing some of the more weird horror offerings. To start things off, here's a selection from Japan. Japanese horror kind of took off with the popularity of Ju-on and Ringu. Japanese horror fans know that there is a subsection of Japanese horror that is simply... Well, weird as hell. For those fans of the weird as hell films, here is the 1977 film Hausu. Enjoy! I'll be adding more as they upload.

I've got around 2,800 followers so it should be fun, even have a unique CRT TV overlay for nostalgia (I'm 37). (Dec 10, 2020, 01:55 am)itsizz Wrote: So... I love horror, shit keep em coming, if the Begotten stream is good I might make a thing of this madness!

I await your next offerings! Here's the next batch with a soupçon of commentary! The Way Things Go Just fun to watch. Memorial Day 2000 I worked at Liberty Street Video in Ann Arbor, Michigan when this videocassette showed up at our store. We put it on our FREE RENTAL endcap display. It was shot nearby and someone asked us to remove it from our collection because one of the ladies in the (embarrassing) video was now a teacher. We "disinclined to acquiesce to your request." I Never Left the White Room Not sure what to think about this, I discovered it when researching the band The KLF (who had an album titled The White Room). This had NOTHING to do with them as I discovered after being excited and downloading it. Not quite bad enough to be good, but it doesn't seem ironic. It seems they thought they were making a powerful movie. WAX or The Discovery of Television Among the Bees It's kind of like Gilmore Girls meets Game of Thrones but with a heart. Or not. I don't know what to say about this one other than William Burroughs' name attached caught my interest. It needn't have; his involvement is nil. Still good, though. I'm sorry about the quality of many of these shares, but I hope they're at least watchable. This next folder is kind of all over the place in terms of quality and file type. If you have, or run across, better quality copies of any of the things in this thread, please share. The Brothers Quay collection, incomplete but hardy. Enjoy.

Added another super weird horror movie to my Mega folder. This is 1989's Society. Enjoy this 80's excess-inspired fever dream.

It's definitely not the most obscure item on this thread, but 2008's Tokyo Gore Police brings the WTF in buckets!
https://mega.nz/folder/elNVECbJ#UINk2P8VBofvnjfV1xuphA Here's the NSFW trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VqtYgQ0ZXo Last one for the day is 2007's Teeth. It's not all fun and games when a girl develops a new set of chompers... Especially when they're not in her mouth https://mega.nz/folder/elNVECbJ#UINk2P8VBofvnjfV1xuphA And the obligatory trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-qd-k0Vg7s It's not a good film or one that's easy to watch, but would anyone want Philosophy of a Knife uploaded on here? I decided to add one more to my folder today. Enjoy this copy of Evil Dead the Musical. https://mega.nz/folder/elNVECbJ#UINk2P8VBofvnjfV1xuphA

It's not horror, but I like the bizarre way the short film Arcade Attack - Silverball Heroes vs Video Invaders goes off the rails a short way in to the "documentary"
There are a few posts of it on youtube, here's one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtaZaBGD1fY |
