Sorry, but I have never posted here before. I thought it would be easy maybe, for and old 65 year old pirate to say congrats to the pirates running in the European elections. LOL no such luck. I sooooo effing hope they win. Whatever happens, TPB has my support 110%. Being from the Canadian north, our internet rights here are being taken away by the Harper gov't. slowly but surely. The internet needs to be free and HAS to be free from censorship and gov't intervention. God bless TPB, even tho I am athiest.... LOL

Anyhow, besides being limited to digital circles, what other kinds of other political aims do most Pirate Parties have and accomplished in their respective countries?

And, I also think that besides politics, many organisations, like the Free Software Foundation (http://fsf.org) and the Canadian lobby group OpenMedia (www.openmedia.ca) can use some contributions from us. They too are fighting against absurd copyright laws.
