Hey guys!
I have read some information on the internet about web-dl and how this has better quality than webrip but what is the difference between bluray vs brrip? From my understanding, I think that bluray movies should retained the video and sound quality whereas brrip is ripped from a blu ray source and therefore reduced quality?

Firstly bear in mind that we don't police terminology (except where there are gross abuses) so just because an uploader says something is something does not mean it is that thing. Some uploaders may be knowingly gaming the system, others may simply not know exactly what the terms mean and may be using them inappropriately.
That said, properly speaking, a Blu-ray is an equal-quality copy of a Blu-ray disc, a BDRip is a reduced quality version of a Blu-ray disc, and a BRRip is a [further] reduced quality version of a BDRip.
A Blu-ray will typically exceed 20 GB. BDRip's and BRRips range from 300MB up to around 15GB.

Generally Sid, you are correct. But the OP was talking about webrips, which are just as good as what you call a BRRip, or even a BDRip. If not better. Though of course, all of them can be of varying quality, so it's a bit strange to say flat out that one is better than another. My advice to anyone wondering about a specific movie or whatnot is to download several versions of it and see which suits your own taste.
To say one is better than another isn't really being accurate. Though a 'true' blu-ray rip should be better than the others.

May somebody just rant them in the order of best to worst, BrRip v BDRip v WebRip v WebDL? I don't really know quality wise so can someone please help me out?

No, because it's not that simple.
Encoders cannot have their cake and eat it. They are all forced to prioritize quality OR file-size. Some choose to create higher quality but larger BDRips (or whatever); others choose to create smaller but lower quality BDRips (or whatever).
A high-quality BDRip will generally be better quality than a Web DL, but a low-quality BDRip will generally be worse.
If you're particularly anal about it you need to consider:
- the source of the encoding
- the resolution of the encoding
- the frame-rate of the encoding
- the skill of the encoder
[But if you're that anal you shouldn't really be downloading rips anyway.]
If you're more sensible you will simply realize that encoders, particularly prolific ones, tend to be fairly consistent so:
- you will lean towards downloading movies from encoders whose movies you have already downloaded and found satisfactory, and
- lean away from downloading movies from from encoders whose work you have already found unsatisfactory.

I keep hearing that Cinavia prevents copying, and I've been enough of it to end world hunger, but wouldn't Cinavia prevent ripping before you guys start arguing which is the best quality?

Cinavia interferes with playback, and is completely irrelevant to this discussion. Discuss it in the appropriate thread if that is what you want to talk about.

Just a thought and I know that bitrate and the skills of the encoder are important but would you guys generally be happy watching a web-dl movies instead of waiting for the blu ray copy? I also think it depends on where you got the movies from but from my experience, I think most movies on RARBG are good. There are only a few movies from RARBG that has poorer qualities such as some of the star wars episodes but on the whole, most of the movies in web-dl format are good.
