World’s Largest BitTorrent Trackers Suffer Prolonged Downtime
#11
I'm looking at a torrent that's running right now, and the trackers that used to be active a few days ago are now active again.

I don't see how big this deal is. we can still go on and download stuffs.
Just properly port forward your modem or router to your static ip address of your server and use dht.

But yes for those who do use it can be a major problem when they go down for a week or more. But however a hardware upgrade is maybe important for them and us too, for performance increase and/or better stability.

Really strange because openbittorrent.com went offline for me a few seconds ago now all peers/seeders are gone. Great i am stuck at 89.7% and it took 6 days to download (59gb). It sucks, i have no idea why this happens. The big issue is:
nobody uses DHT!!!

God i hate these hit and run fags. Really no one seeds these days.

Edit: and its offline again.. Jeez It is so hard to do it right at once...
