Windows 7 all version
#1
I downloaded the torrent of windows 7 (it is under top 100 software, the one with all the verisons), i can not provide a hyperlink right now but I followed all the instructions, monted the file in poweriso and clicked burn. I burned it to a 4.7 gb dvd with a 4x speed like it says. After it was finished I put the dvd into my new build, the hard drive is already to go but when ever I start up the new computer it says reboot or boot...press any button, and when you press a button just keeps repeating the process. Can somebody give me some insight please?

When you reboot the after the first time setup boots, you don't need to press the "any" key again. Is that what you did?

The BIOS settings can change as per the necessary boot device order. Like first boot device, second etc..You don't need to press any key the second time .

Well the way I have it set up is I have my optic drive set first. And the message it actually says is "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" I opened the optic drive put the dvd in the drive closed it, the screen shows a "_" blinking like it is loading and then repeats the message.

I believe this could be the case. If you installed a new harddrive, that mgiht have taken over the CD/DVD-ROM as first bood device
