Well, there's a new VPN called Surfshark VPN (https://www.surfshark.com). It has zero log policy and is based in the British Virgin Islands so out of the 14 eyes jurisdiction. It supports P2P and torrenting with really rapid speeds, even though they don't have many servers to choose from. For now, there's a Windows app with a kill switch which should be enough. I've even found this coupon code VIPDEAL which gives you 68% off in total: that is $42,66 for 12 months. So far I like it. Just remember to take necessary precautions: never close a VPN while you have your torrenting app open.

To answer the question, basically, every VPN providers #1 goal is protection. Some have better encryption, others, worse. Furthermore, every provider has their pros&cons, it's a preference and budget thing in the end.

Nevertheless, my go-to VPN at the moment is Surfshark. They are cheap, reliable, fast and secure.

I'm sure it's already been posted here, but ProtonVPN seems great: https://protonvpn.com. They're, of course, the same developers as ProtonMail (which I'm assuming y'all use). They're based in Switzerland and claim they don't log.

Do any of them? When it comes to the point of a judge ordering them to share or go to jail for contempt? Not many people will make that sacrifice.

I was in search of good vpn services for torrenting and unblocking Netflix Ireland, coming across SNIP! I found out that a lot of services allows torrenting but only SNIP! with dedicated P2P servers are:
