Using Windows 10 ever since it's introduced to world, work in all direction specially for software compatibilities purposes and other work-ground, Windows 11 is good but for keep such use of developer basis, I must stick to Windows 10 as it suits the most for multitasking and all. Smile

In my experience, stopping Discord https://setapp.com/how-to/stop-discord-f...on-startup from launching at startup in Windows 10 is a breeze. First, hit the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog. Then type "shellConfusedtartup" and press Enter. This opens the Startup folder. Now, simply find the Discord shortcut, right-click, and select Delete. Alternatively, you can prevent it from launching via Task Manager. Just right-click the taskbar, select Task Manager, navigate to the Startup tab, find Discord, right-click, and choose Disable. Voila! No more pesky Discord launching on startup, giving my PC a much-needed speed boost.

windows 10

soon wanna to start to use Windows 11

Hey there! Windows 11 was a bit unstable at first, but it has improved a lot over time. I have to use it at work, and I'm a big fan of Linux. Give Windows 11 a try, and if you don't like it, you can always roll back to Windows 10 through the settings. Good luck!

Windows 10 rocks. I prefer 10 over 11 as well.

So far, no love to MacOS, Solaris, and BSD.

Just so you guys know, there is a BSD operating system that does have a GUI out of the box, it's called helloSystem: https://hellosystem.github.io/docs/

You can use a virtual machine, but I believe the programmers recommend using it as a host OS. It's pretty neat.

Akchually you can compile debian with a BSD kernel is you so desire. Also MacOS is just BSD with apple fluff Smile

So true Heart

Unfortunately the development of Debian GNU/kFreeBSD has officially terminated as of July 2023 due to the lack of interest and volunteers.

You may find the official announcement here.

Let me add that both OpenBSD and FreeBSD ship with GUI out of the box (in case someone would get the idea they dont from RX's post).
